This was the project that made me a photographer. Many will only see the results, and not know just how many revisions I have made on these (and will make in the future) or the terror I evoked on the local deer population. The bottom image started with the discovery of a deer trail while on a walk through my woods, and a single photo I had snapped of a fawn running. To capture the rest of the deer herd, I offered them a free dinner, kept a watchful eye out of the window, and grabbed my camera when the time was right. With a little guilt, I purposely spooked them, and snapped away. Once the deer had done their part, it was just me, Photoshop, and the helpful critique of my professor. The results gave me a recommendation for a Student Photographer position at my college.
